As a photographer, there are certain moments that truly stick with you. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Raelynn's adorable lemon cake smash session in my studio, and it was a day that I won't soon forget.
The theme for the session was summer lemons, and mom brought the cutest lemon romper I've ever seen. From the moment she walked into the studio, I knew that we were in for a special shoot.
Raelynn was definitely not camera shy and she has the biggest, brightest blue eyes and the most expressive, sweet face! She was so excited to be there, and it showed in every little movement she made. Her eyes lit up as we placed the cake in front of her, and she wasted no time diving right in.
The way she interacted with the cake was pure magic. She squished it between her fingers, smeared it on her cheeks, and even tasted a few bites along the way but she was mostly interested in eating the lemon slices, lol!
After she took her time playing with the lemons and the cake, we cleaned her up in our adorable vintage tub.
All in all, this was the cutest cake smash ever!
